Yes, that's right. We've got about 3-4 inches on the ground, but it seems to have stopped now. And it's Sunday, so that always puts me in a thoughtful and melancholy mood.
It truly does amaze me how many days can pass without me coming here to share what's happening in my life. I suppose it's because I have others around me who are eager to listen and dialogue with me. Praise God for that! It's therapeutic knowing that I can come to friends and loved one and share my burden, but when they're not available, I go to God.
I long for the day when you and I will be together and we'll sit together to share our hearts. It's going to be quite different, as I've rarely been that vulnerable with anyone other than my immediate family throughout my entire life. So, you might need to coax me a bit to break through the walls and barriers. I promise you, though, the soft and tender spots you'll find will be more than worth the work it takes to get there.
God promises me that He has my perfect match. I know you'll be up to the challenge, and you'll do it in such a way that I'm assured of your love, no matter what I say or do. That's an awe-inspiring thought. Then again, I'll also feel the same about you, and to make that choice in order to receive the greater reward of everlasting love? I'll do it in a heartbeat!
