Well, just heard today that the assistant manager is leaving at the end of August. Not sure how that's going to affect me, but the manager already spoke with me about my continued interest. She said she's not going to replace him immediately and that our store only has enough support for a Senior Sales. Pay isn't as much, but it would guarantee me full-time and get me back out on the sales floor again. Just not sure how well I'll work with the manager. She can be rather narrow-minded and unbending/inflexible when it comes to policies and changing things to suit the store.
Still in a waiting pattern on my book with Barbour. Heard from the editor last week and and he said he's still working his way through it, but he loves the story. I hope that means good things.
Meanwhile, I'm continuing at church on the worship team and still praying God lets you and I meet soon. If we've already met, I pray He reveals us to each other in a way that we have no doubts.
Oh, and just 1 more month until I turn the BIG 3-0! Leaving my 20's behind and moving into a new decade. Maybe a whole new path will come with it! That remains to be seen.
